This is a reminder that umpire registration is open and we are noticing that registration is lagging behind previous years.
In response to feedback we have been receiving for many years, we have made major changes to the umpire clinic structure which has now been changed into 2 components:
Training Overview:
- Independent learning modules.
- With online learning, you'll have the flexibility to learn at your own pace, with an estimated 2 - 3 hours of engaging content awaiting you.
It is recommended, but not required, that umpires complete their online modules before attending their umpire camp.
- 4-hour in-person instructional camp.
- Learn the basics of umpiring.
- Select your camp during registration. The cost of attending the on-field camp is already included in your registration fee (WBMB will pay for this registration fee, please select "my association will pay" at time of registration.
Below is a link to instructions of how to register as a level 1 umpire this season. You can use the same procedure to register as a level 2 umpire also.

Once registered, go to the Clinics and Camps tab and register for the appropriate online modules AND on field camp. If you do not see an onfield camp in your area, please check back regularly as the camps available are being updated regularly

Remember, completing your training involves completing your online training AND attending a local field camp to become a certified official. Which can be found on your RAMP dashboard under "Camps & Clinics" or Baseball Sask » Umpire Clinics
Please make sure to get yourself certified to allow us to have a successful season of baseball, without umpires we have no game!
